Opportunities in the lab

We welcome motivated researchers to join us to explore exciting genome sciences together.

Trainees in the lab will receive quality mentorship and training to help achieve their professional goals. In addition to the assigned projects, we also encourage trainees to propose their own ideas under the research theme of the lab, especially novel methodology research.

Postdoctoral Fellow

Requirements:
1. Ph.D. in computer science, biostatistics, bioinformatics, genetics, or related fields.
2. Strong quantitative research background.
3. Strong computational skills (familiar with at least 1 programming language).
4. Experience in analyzing large-scale genetic/genomic data sets is preferred.
5. Demonstrated excellence in research (at least 1 high-quality publications in reputable journals).
6. Good communication skills in English.

Data Analyst

Requirements:
1. Bachelor or Master degree in computer science, biostatistics, bioinformatics or related fields.
2. Strong computational and programming skills.
3. Experience on analyzing large-scale genetic/genomic data sets is preferred.
4. Good communication skills in English.

Software Engineer

Requirements:
1. Bachelor or Master degree in computer science, bioinformatics or related fields.
2. Familiar with C++, Java, and (or) Phython.
3. Experience in developing software packges or web-based servers is highly preferred.
4. Good communication skills in English.

Graduate Student

We can accept graduate students from the Tongji School of Public Health, Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
